Nothing ever stays the same. The grief that comes with loss is debilitating and difficult to shake. Loss can take shape as a person, pet, relationship, and sense of self. I know this.

The memorial wreath project began at the very start of the pandemic, and it was a way for me to process the loss I had experienced in 2019. As COVID-19 claimed more lives & altered all of ours, the wreaths became tributes of collective loss and shared grief.
